Hello All,

We can't believe how quickly this summer is going by! Before I know it, school will start back up again! I'm still waiting to hear on my application to BSC for their Master's program. I was supposed to hear at the beginning of July, but since it's the summer the application process is taking a bit longer. :-(

Since the cookout at the beginning of June we've been busy almost every weekend! Our neighbors got married in the middle of June. Their photographer took this great picture of us! We are going to another friend's wedding this coming Saturday, another in September and the 5th of the year in October. I guess it's that time in our lives, right?
We went to Maine a couple of different times--once to Sweden, ME and another time to Rangeley, ME. On our way home from Rangeley our friend Mike & I decided that when they named the different towns in Maine, they were spinning a globe and pointing a finger. We traveled through or saw signs for Sweden, Mexico, Norway, & Peru, ME to name a few. When we went to Rangeley we were able to take our new kayaks with us, which was a lot of fun. Our friend also had a couple of kayaks and a canoe up there. He was telling us that there was a place on the other side of the lake that he wanted to explore, but it was too shallow for the boat. What do the boys think of? Oh yes, they tied all 4 kayaks & canoe together and then we proceeded to tow them behind the motor boat across the lake. I'm supposed to be getting pictures from his parents of us on the way back, I will post those when we get them. I can only imagine what the neighbors were thinking of us that day!

We hope everyone else is enjoying their summers as much as we are! We are pumped that the Sox are 7.5 up on the Yankees, but would prefer the 11 game margin instead. Can you actually believe we're worried about that this year? Such a change from years past!
Go Sox!
love,
Patti & Jeff

Kyle's Birthday

Kyle just turned eight years old on June 10th. He had a blast with his family and friends. Kyle had his party at a pool. He and about ten of his classmates went swimming. It is a lot easier to hold a party somewhere else versus the house. Kyle got many toys and games for his play station and his future WII station. The WII is impossible to find in stores in the Greater Bangor area. We will be down at my parent's house starting June 30th. I hope to see some of you while I am down.

Fenway Day

Morning Ya'll,

Two weekends ago John invited us to Northeastern's Fenway Day event. We had a blast!
Just walking around the park seeing a rally monkey, clowns making balloon animals, live music, face painting, meeting Wally and seeing Yankee's fans getting their picture taken with the Red Sox World Series Trophy. HAHAHA!

Thanks again John for a great afternoon!

See our picture taken with the trophy and Wally. As you can see Ellie couldn't take her eyes off of him... he looked too much like a Muppet (Dr. Teeth) and she loves the Muppets.

Happy Father's Day Guys!

Mike

TGIF!

Morning,

I'm so glad to see folks posting. Nice job! And sorry for the technical difficulties Paul. It did delete your post.

I can't believe how old Kyle is! Holy Smokes! Time flies! Ellie would love his "Cars" outfit. She loves that movie.

Here are 2 recent photos of Ellie. A friend of ours is a professional photographer and he shot these as a Mother's Day gift from Ellie & I for Johanna. I also have a video of Ellie on Google video that I've been trying to publish on the blog and I'm not having much luck. Hopefully I can get it working so I can share it with you all.

Johanna and I are doing great. We both started new jobs this past October. Johanna is the Assistant Director of Student Programs to Brown University's Annual Fund. She loves her job and the fact that she gets to work directly with the students has been a great experience. I'm a Senior Package Designer at Safety 1st. For those of us who have kids Safety 1st makes all sorts of juvenile products. Most known for the famous "Baby on Board" sign. I get to design product packaging and Art Direct photoshoot's with kids of all ages. It's been a lot of fun.

Have a great Friday and an even better weekend. Yankee's are in town... Lock up your daughter's A-Rod is in town! Go Sox!

Hello Everyone

Mike, this was a great idea for the spread out families. I looking forward to the postings from everyone. Bangor Maine is great and the family is doing well. Kyle is finishing second grade and he turning eight next week. Mike how is your wife and daughter doing? Post some updated pictures. The last one that I saw was the one your mother sent me back at x-mas time. I posted a blog yesterday, but it looks like it was lost. This is Kyle with his new dog Lucey. She is a four year old Cocapu. We adopted her from our next door neighbor. She was moving and could not take her. Duke past away over a month ago from cancer. We think he was fourteen years old or older. We had adopted him from the Humane Society. Lucey has settled into her new surroundings. She loves to play with Kyle. At night she sleeps in bed with him. We will be down visiting at my parents house the week of July 4Th. I hope to see some of you this week.
